Warwickshire Wedding Photography: Amy + Neal

As she sips Louis Dornier champagne with her bridesmaids and preparing to slip into that symbolic white dress, outside her groom arrives in quite a stunning fashion. Cutting through the sky, clearing the clouds away, a helicopter lands on the well-manicured lawns of Billesley Manor Hotel to the utter surprise of everyone. The groom flies all the way to get married to his beautiful bride in a 16th-century Elizabethan manor. It’s nothing less than poetic – and this all happens in none other than Shakespeare’s County, in the sprawling Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire countryside, where Amy and Neal consummate their vows.

From the smooth preparation to the ceremony, to the reception and down to the speeches (Neal delivered an epic one, deservedly one of the best groom’s speeches we’ve ever heard) – everything was well-organised, sophisticated, glamorous and most of all, heartfelt. They tied the knot where Amy grew up, and fittingly so in the company of their lovely family, friends and relatives, and we had the greatest honour of documenting such a perfect day of happiness shared by two very wonderful people and everyone around them. Kudos also to Naomi, the wedding organiser at Billesley Manor – you’ve done such a terrific job and thank you for being so nice to us, despite coming from a long way, and making Amy and Neal’s day precisely managed.

To Amy and Neal, aside from being super-great clients, you both are truly incredible people. We’re glad to know you both, and thank you for trusting us to photograph your special day. Your wedding was one-of-a-kind, the best we’ve ever been to! Collaborating with you both was a joy, and we hope you enjoy and treasure these photos forever. We’re sure you’re now having the best road trip/honeymoon in your life across America, and we sincerely wish you both a remarkable life together in the future. All the best x

If you get married in Britain, weather is always a foremost issue. So what do you do when it rains during your wedding day? Smile and break into laughter. Unfazed, Jo and Nathan consider this a blessing in disguise. Despite the pissing weather (perhaps the most challenging element in wedding photography), this couple has shown that whatever comes through their way, the fun never stops. This is also a testament to all the people involved – the ever-cooperative bridesmaids, groom’s men, and the family – who all made this event possible. For Jo and Nathan, it’s been a genuine pleasure working with this couple, very amenable and never runs out of energy.

Essex Wedding Photography: Elena + Scott

There’s nothing quite like your first job, as they say. With the pressure surmounting to the equivalent of a truck on my shoulder and a great, big lump on my throat, the idea of photographing the very first wedding I’ve ever professionally taken up daunted me more than I’ve ever thought of. This was my first professional wedding photography gig, and as the day approached, that lump in my throat was getting only bigger. Thanks to Elena & Scott, for being so bold, brave and giving me their full trust for letting me document the most important day in their lives. It was quite a responsibility to capture and crystallise these moments, and this couple, who injected calmness, playfulness and warmth, have given me the chance to prove myself. I am honoured for having photographed your most beautiful day.
